The vet called us a couple of nights ago to let us know that all of Mylo's bloodwork came back just fine--except for his thyroid levels which have decreased dramatically since his last bloodwork 3 months ago. He's gained a little bit of weight... well... 4 pounds since August... he doesn't look overweight at all, but that much weight gain on such a little frame is a big deal. We assumed the KBr would have caused any weight gain we saw in him, but the vet thinks his low thyroid is probably the reason as well.
So, now he's on a thyroid medication 2 times a day. Poor dog! He just can't win.
