Moke had his vet appointment yeserday afternoon. Poor kitty. We took him in because he's lost so much weight that he's become quite skinny. They drew some blood to have his thyroid and kidney functions tested, however, she thinks his teeth are rotten and that may be what his problem is! One one hand, that makes me feel like a terrible mother for not having taken him in sooner, but on the other hand I hope his teeth are the problem, and it's not his thyroid or kidneys! She said the thyroid condition is treatable, but the kidney condition isn't. Oh, no! Now I have to wait until Monday to find out the status of his bloodwork!
